July 11, 1951 - October 20, 2022

Billy D Hines was born in Durant, OK on July 11, 1951. Billy passed away peacefully at home on October 20, 2022.

Billy attended The University of North th Texas where he met his wife Kim. Soon after their wedding he began his career with the Nasher Company, becoming the General Manager of NorthPark Shopping Center. Billy was hard-working, compassionate, exceedingly generous, and a perpetually positive man. These attributes were exhibited in both his work and family life by the impact and influence he had on the lives of so many. He loved unconditionally and his family and all those that we're blessed to have him in their lives will forever remember his legacy.

BILLY HINES CELEBRATION OF LIFE

OCTOBER 27, 2022

The well-attended funeral yesterday for Billy Hines was a tribute to our RHS classmate who was a great family man, enjoyed a long and successful career as General Manager of Northpark mall in Dallas, and a man of deep faith in Jesus Christ.

I was very humbled by the photos and many testimonies of his children, grand-children, and friends that reflected his stability and commitment to a life that made a positive impact on so many.

As a member of “The Gang” at RHS, I will always remember Billy as one of our RHS group of hell-raisers.  However it is comforting to know that in his maturity and strength of faith, he soon outgrew much of the immaturity that I continue to struggle with today.

Billy Hines will be truly missed here…while in a better place there up yonder!
