DAVIDSON, James Hamilton After a valiant fight,  Davidson passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. Jimmy was an inspiration to us all, showing strength and determination through his battle with thyroid cancer. Jimmy was born in Washington, D.C. on May 14, 1951. His passions were cooking, sailing, and his happiest days were managing restaurants. His most memorable experiences and everlasting support were in the friendships made while managing Mariano's and La Hacienda Ranch, both in Dallas. He is preceeded in death by his parents, Dorothy Brigham and Harry Hildreth Davidson; his brother Scotty Stephens Davidson. He is survived by his daughter Alison, husband Sean and sons Douglas and Hudson Slaton; his brothers Hil, Billy, and Jeffrey Davidson. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, 8011 Douglas Avenue, Dallas, TX 75225. A reception will follow in the church parlor.
